Power X Crossover Pipes are used to connect to Bassani Headers, OEM manifolds up to the stock exhaust or Bassani exhaust system sections with true dual exhaust systems. They feature mandrel bent tubes welded into a unique x-shaped chamber made out of two stamped sections. This method of manufacturing is more costly than conventional crossovers, but Bassani feels the gains in power, sound, and appearance more than make up the difference.
If you are upgrading the exhaust system on your vehicle, we recommend using Bassanis Power X Crossover Pipes with catalytic Converters. Premium "High Flow" cats are used and all factory connections are retained. Compared to an off-road crossover pipe without cats, there is virtually no difference in power output. So for street use, cats are definitely the way to go.
